The majority of Superbru tippers got off to a strong start to the AFL season, with the average player managing over 6 correct outcomes out of 9. There was only one result in Round One that was tipped by a minority, as Essendon beat the Adelaide Crows by 12 despite only being tipped by 30% of players.
Here, we’ll be looking at how the crowd have tipped this week’s games thus far, in order to provide you with some insight for your own Superbru AFL Round Two tips.
Adelaide Crows vs. Richmond
The Round Two opener in Adelaide is one of the most evenly split at Superbru as things stand, with a slightly majority of 53% backing the away side. To give you an indicator of just how tight this one is at present – the average exact margin pick is Richmond by 0.97!
North Melbourne Kangaroos vs. St Kilda
This one isn’t quite so tight based on tips made so far with 79% tipping St Kilda to make it 2 from 2. Form-wise based upon the opening game this makes sense, but it is obviously very early days!
Carlton vs. Gold Coast Suns
The majority of the Superbru community are tipping Carlton to get their first win of the season against the Gold Coast Suns, with 60% of players expecting the home side to bounce back from their loss against Richmond in Round One.
Collingwood vs. GWS Giants
The Giants bagged a huge win over the Western Bulldogs last weekend and that result will no doubt have influenced the 72% of players currently tipping them to win again here.
Brisbane Lions vs. Melbourne
Two teams that lost in Round One, the majority (60%) are backing Melbourne to beat the Brisbane Lions having only suffered a narrow defeat against the Geelong Cats last week (by 3).
Freemantle vs. Essendon
As mentioned in the opening of this piece, Essendon were the side to upset a lot of people’s Superbru scores last week! They come up against Freemantle who lost by 50 in Round One so with those two factors in mind it’s little surprise to see that 67% are tipping Essendon.
Western Bulldogs vs. West Coast Eagles
This one’s another very tight game that has split the Superbru crowd almost right down the middle. 54% are leaning towards the Bulldogs despite their heavy defeat to the Giants in the last round.
Sydney Swans vs. Port Adelaide
With 85% of people tipping the Swans, and an average margin pick of Swans by 13, it would be a big surprise if Port Adelaide won in Round Two.
Geelong Cats vs. Hawthorn
The final game of Round Two which takes place on Monday sees the Cats take on Hawthorn at the MCG. 72% of Superbru players are tipping the Geelong Cats to win it with the average margin pick standing at 6.84.
