Marvel Stadium will again be turned purple for Maddie’s Match in Round 3 this AFL season.

The Sunday afternoon match is sure to be packed now all Victorian matches will be at 100% seating capacity so don’t miss out on Maddie’s match tickets.

Richmond and St Kilda have faced off in 190 matches in their history, with the Saints winning 73, drawing 3, and losing 114.

It’s always important for teams to get off to a good start to the season, and this is the sort of match where both teams need the 4 points. Both St Kilda and Richmond are looking to rise up the ladder again after having disappointing seasons in 2021.

This is the seventh annual match to help raise money to assist those suffering from Bone Marrow Failure Syndromes (BMFS) through research, support and prevention.

Maddie Riewoldt’s Vision (MRV) has since 2015 raised over $1.6 million. The ultimate hope is to find a cure for this disease.

Since the first Maddie’s Match in 2015, St Kilda has worked alongside Maddie Riewoldt’s Vision (MRV) to bring BMFS into the spotlight and help children and young adults who are amongst those most likely to be affected.

Get along and support the Riewoldt’s and Maddie’s Vision at Maddie’s Match. Bring your family, wear purple and make a donation at the gate. Importantly, encourage others to attend or go online www.mrv.org.au to make a contribution.

It’s a great event to be at and always an exciting game so book your St Kilda v Richmond tickets today.

To all those who have supported the event in the past, thank you for your help in making a difference to the lives of young people, who just like Maddie, have the fight of their lives ahead.
