GWS GIANTS’ Harry Himmelberg and Sydney Swans’ Sam Wicks have elected to challenge their respective charges through a written submission to the Tribunal. Outcome released tomorrow, Wednesday April 6.

All other players accepted their sanctions from the MRP in round 3.

Harry Himmelberg, GWS GIANTS, has been charged with Striking Sam Collins, Gold Coast SUNS, during the fourth quarter of the Round Three match between the GWS GIANTS and Gold Coast SUNS, played at GIANTS Stadium on Saturday, April 2, 2022.

Based on the available evidence, the incident was assessed as Intentional Conduct, Low Impact, Body Contact. The incident was classified as a $3000 sanction as a first offence.

Sam Wicks, Sydney Swans, has been charged with Striking Alex Keath, Western Bulldogs, during the fourth quarter of the Round Three match between the Western Bulldogs and the Sydney Swans played at Marvel Stadium on Thursday, March 31, 2022.

Based on the available evidence, the incident was assessed as Careless Conduct, Low Impact, High Contact. The incident was classified as a $3000 sanction as a first offence.
