St. Kilda Football Club’s Jack Billings has suffered a setback in his road to recovery as scans have revealed a hairline fracture in his right fibula. The injury occurred during a recent match simulation against Melbourne, just a few months after the 27-year-old underwent back surgery.

Acting General Manager of Football David Misson expressed his disappointment at the news, acknowledging that Billings has worked hard over the summer to regain his fitness and join the team. Misson added that the club will do everything they can to support the young player during his rehab, which is expected to last up to eight weeks.

Jack Billings is a key player for St. Kilda, known for his impressive skills on the field. His injury will be a major loss for the team.
