General Manager of Football, Graham Wright, expressed disappointment for Howe, who suffered a compound fracture in his forearm. After scans last night, surgery was carried out early on Saturday.

Wright highlighted Howe’s dedication as a respected leader and emphasized the club’s commitment to supporting his welfare during recovery.

“Jeremy is a respected leader of our program who really puts his body on the line – our priority is making sure his welfare is supported through his recovery and we will do that.”

Collingwood will provide an update on Jeremy’s return-to-play timeline soon.
