Starting her career as a ruck/forward, Brown found her place in the backline with her speed, agility, and game sense making her a valuable asset as a rebounding defender. Despite the club’s disappointment in losing Brown, they understand that player movement is a part of the current landscape of the AFLW.

AFLW football performance and talent manager Rhys Harwood commented on Brown’s departure, saying, “We thank Brooke for her contribution across her three seasons at the club and wish her well in her next chapter.”

Brown’s departure comes as she joins an expansion club, eager to continue her development as a versatile athlete. The North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos wish her all the best in her future endeavors.
