According to Graham Wright, Collingwood’s GM of Football, the club is disappointed for Lipinski, who has now undergone his second shoulder surgery in six months. Although no firm timeline has been placed on Lipinski’s return to play, it is expected that he will be available for selection following the mid-season bye period.

Wright added that Lipinski’s welfare is of utmost importance to the club and that they will continue to support him as he begins his rehab. The absence of Lipinski is certainly a blow to the Collingwood midfield, but the club will be hoping for a speedy recovery so he can return to the field as soon as possible.

In the meantime, Collingwood will have to look to other players to step up and fill the void left by Lipinski. With the 2023 season just around the corner, fans will be hoping that the club can overcome this setback and put in a strong performance on the field.
