North Melbourne Football Club has announced its 13th consecutive annual profit for the 2024 financial year, highlighting strong growth across several key areas. The club recorded an operating profit of $961,280, with total revenue climbing to $53.4 million, marking another year of financial stability.
The club saw a 5% increase in home-game attendance, averaging 30,500 fans per match. This included the success of the Good Friday SuperClash, hosted for the second consecutive year, which once again sold out and delivered substantial returns.
Memberships continued to thrive, surpassing 50,000 for the third year in a row, with significant contributions from a growing base of loyal supporters. Meanwhile, key partnerships with major sponsors Mazda and Spirit of Tasmania played an essential role in the club’s ongoing success. Both partners renewed multi-year deals, further cementing their association with the Kangaroos.
The club also benefited from robust management and strategic planning, ensuring it remained debt-free—a status it first achieved in 2021 after decades of financial challenges. CEO Jen Watt attributed the club’s financial success to the unwavering support of fans, members, and sponsors, as well as the dedication of its team and leadership.
Looking ahead, North Melbourne is focused on sustaining its financial momentum while enhancing on-field performance across its AFL and AFLW programs. The club’s commitment to growth and innovation ensures it remains a competitive force both on and off the field.
