Collingwood has officially locked in its coaching structure for the 2025 Toyota AFL Premiership Season, reaffirming stability while welcoming new and returning faces to the panel.

Senior Coach Craig McRae will again lead the team, with Hayden Skipworth continuing in his role as Senior Assistant and Midfield Coach after stepping into the position last season.

A notable addition to the 2025 panel is the return of Matthew Boyd, who rejoins the Magpies after a four-year stint as Fremantle’s backline assistant coach. The three-time All-Australian initially transitioned into coaching with Collingwood in 2018 as a Development Coach before earning a promotion to Assistant Coach for the defensive line in 2020. This season, Boyd will co-lead the midfield group alongside Skipworth, strengthening the club’s on-field strategy.

Scott Selwood will continue overseeing the forward line, while former Collingwood defender Jordan Roughead takes charge of the backline, adding valuable experience and insight to the coaching group.

In development, Josh Fraser remains the Club’s Head of Development, ensuring emerging talent receives the necessary support to progress. He will be assisted by development coaches Neville Jetta and Chloe McMillan, the latter continuing her role after participating in the AFL’s Women’s Coach Acceleration Program last season. Andrew Otten, who previously worked in player development, has now been appointed as the club’s VFL Coach while maintaining his role as a Development Coach.

Collingwood’s finalized coaching panel is as follows:
