Match Review Officer Michael Christian has tonight given out two bans, five fine sanctions and sent Hawk Daniel Howe straight to the tribunal. Big Cat Tom Hawkins has been cleared for high hit on Bailey Fritsch. Eagles skipper Shannon Hurn also found he had no case to answer for bump on Dog Mitch Honeychurch that left the small forward hospitalised.
Tom Hawkins cleared contact BFritsch. Hawkins made contact to Fritsch with an open hand in a pushing motion to the chest area, with incidental high contact made at the time. It was the view of Match Review Officer it was not a reportable offence & no further action was taken.

Shannon Hurn cleared contact MHoneychurch. Hurn takes up a stationary position as Honeychurch comes towards him. It was view that Hurn did not have a realistic alternative way to approach the contest. No further action was taken.

Lions tall Tom Cutler received a two week ban for rough conduct on Crow Lachlan Murphy. While Hawthorn’s Daniel Howe received plenty of attention from Christian with a two week ban for striking Patrick Cripps and has been sent to the tribunal for tripping young gun Zac Fisher. Fisher was confirmed to have broken the leg in the incident today. The force and outcome of the trip could see Howe set for a lengthy stay on the sideline.
