I'm surprised this trope still exists. It's like the #VICBIAS meme has spilled over into interstaters assuming that Vics will only barrack for each other.
Hearing kat Perry has booted the Lions off the MCG so she can rehearse her pregame medley. Very disappointing the AFL would compromise the integrity of the grand final for a lip-synching has-been. #VICBIAS
2017...the birth of #VICBIAS.
MCG home ground advantage. social ****ing media
Hadn't helped us for 37 years.
Oddly RFC play the MCG less than the Pies.
There are #VICBIAS discussions about inequality and advantage and disadvantage which are good.
Then there's a group with a chip on their shoulder - mainly seems to be Port fans in this thread - who carry on whenever a free gets paid against them or a commentator says something they disagree...
Don’t get sucked in by the trolls.
Or if you do, point out that if their rationale is that the only way non Vic teams can win in this league is with concessions, thereby admitting that the comp is essentially a yearly #VICBIAS benefit.
Leaning towards Port losing for the massive melts that would be forthcoming from the Port board.
But Hawthorn losing also helps with #VICBIAS
So win-win in my view.
Learnt: conflicting Big Footy hot topics at play from here, no matter who wins the flag. Either #VICBIAS is killed off for a year, or it feels like a Big Footy troll whichever way it goes if either of the two remaining Vic teams actually wins it.
