    Preview Round 8, 2024 : Bulldogs v Hawks, 4pm 5th May, Marvel Stadium

Yep there is a little bit of Robbing Peter to pay Paul about it, at the same time they would of towered over us anyway. Plus Weddle can hurt English the other way too.

    Preview Round 8, 2024 : Bulldogs v Hawks, 4pm 5th May, Marvel Stadium

Team makes sense for mine - Dogs don't have a tall backline, it is really only Jones and O'Donnell. Hopefully we can maneuver well enough for Gunston to get the O'Donnell match-up more often than not. In regard to the 1 ruck - I think Weddle will be that 2nd ruck/chop out option. Don't mind it...

I don't think we will, North are still easier to score against than us

Coach Sam Mitchell's direction for the club and 2024 news

Yeah it definitely brought back memories of a Clarko game style but for different reasons. i didn't like how it looked one bit but can understand the reasoning behind it. I'll be surprised if we ever see our backline that timid again.

Coach Sam Mitchell's direction for the club and 2024 news

The pile on Sam is copping in here is a bit much. For the last 4 years bar maybe once or twice we have been consistently beaten by Gawn, May and Lever. It was clear from the first minute that they were trying to avoid kicking the ball anywhere near them, we tried to suck Melbourne in and look to...

I'm not going to lie, your last 2 round ideas don't sound that bad. I could definitely get behind all the games being concurrent for 1 round... AFL would still find a way to overlap the 2 best games though.

The bays on that far wing standing up one by one with as they moved the ball down the wing has always stayed with me being a part of that. Goosebumps still 10 years later. What a game

Welcome Welcome to Hawthorn, Chad Wingard. 200 games! Signed to the end of 2024

When he makes it through to the end of the season, a 2year deal will be the easiest decision the club will make this off-season. As others have mentioned he has been enormous these past rounds, but his type of class forward of center is very rare. My favourite adjective in footy is 'Mercurial'...

Preview Round 15, 2023 : Gold Coast v Hawthorn, 4.40pm Sunday 25th, Heritage Bank Stadium

Going to use my 1 post per year on this game. I'm excited for this one but not because I'm expecting a win. I am very keen to see how the younger leaders who are coming up under Sicily go. Last time against Port in the first half they lowered their colours, and to their credit fought back in the...

Autopsy Round 4: Hawks have mare against Saints

Hi all, first post here but have spent a fair while in the bigfooty shadows and felt like this result may be a good of a reason as any to start getting involved. I'm not disappointed with yesterdays game at all. I will agree that some efforts were poor (frost trying to go off the deck when I...
