Do you recall any of the following Round 5 matches by Hawthorn from 1985 to 1988?

Round 5, 1985: Hawthorn 21.23 (149) lost to Richmond 29.14 (188)
Round 5, 1986: Hawthorn 13.12 (90) lost to Fitzroy 13.26 (104)
Round 5, 1987: Hawthorn 13.14 (92) lost to West Coast 15.14 (104)
Round 5, 1988: Hawthorn 31.19 (205) defeated North Melbourne 19.14 (128)

I remember only the West Coast game but can recall reading about the Richmond game that:

- Hawthorn were desperate for a new full back to replace Kelvin Moore because Roach kicked eleven
- Hawthorn had not had to play well in attack to have 44 scoring shots - the most by a losing side ever

If you do remember these games, did you notice the remarkable parallels?
