    He is mate. Don't rate him as highly as many do on these boards. Much better as a forward is a much more damaging player there! As a mid he's just a player and I don't think a lot of the possessions are effective. This is only my opinion though and almost everyone would disagree!

    His possessions aren't always damaging but neither are Swan's and he hasn't turned out to be a super star game breaker some of us been hoping for but he is a very good mid/ half forward. Sidey has been our most consistent player this year and has been in our bests in all bar the Hawthorn game IIRC and is right up there in Copeland.
    Basically he's only overrated if people expect Brownlows from him

    Agree to disagree. Don't think he has had much impact on games so far this year. If he's right up there in the Copeland it's only cause the rest of them have been hopeless!
