I’ve really appreciated the telecasters panning to Luke Darcy anytime son Sam does something. It’s such a joy that Australian broadcasters feel the need to show parents in the crowd like anyone gives a stuff.
Imagine taking pleasure in the demise of good posters even if they had interesting and differing views unlike a lot of the backslapping, snide and benign posts that presently exists and god forbid anyone have a contrary view to anything.

Those more astute at footy than I, Grasshopper, may find this little snippet about how Collingwood plays compared to Hawthorn interesting. I tend not to notice these things until they’re pointed out and these small highlights are quite obvious once pointed out.

Mitch Cleary on Talking Footy said the Hugh McCluggage re-signing has “taken a turn” for the positive. He said we’re re-signing him on a 7 year x $1M per season deal.
I’m sure if the Crows really wanted Beeken they’d have taken him with there first pick unless they were absolutely certain that their first pick, Murray, wouldn’t have slipped to their second pick but given they passed on that pick it could be a long bow to suggest they’d have taken Beeken anyway.
