    I’ve really appreciated the telecasters panning to Luke Darcy anytime son Sam does something. It’s such a joy that Australian broadcasters feel the need to show parents in the crowd like anyone gives a stuff.

    The seven years is what raised my eyebrows not necessarily the money which I still think is high for what his output is which I guess needs to be tempered by what other clubs would have offered him to get him out of the Lions.

    Mitch Cleary on Talking Footy said the Hugh McCluggage re-signing has “taken a turn” for the positive. He said we’re re-signing him on a 7 year x $1M per season deal.

    I’m sure if the Crows really wanted Beeken they’d have taken him with there first pick unless they were absolutely certain that their first pick, Murray, wouldn’t have slipped to their second pick but given they passed on that pick it could be a long bow to suggest they’d have taken Beeken anyway.
