Bill Sanders is credited as the songwriter
Found this Discogs listing- track 4 is Pride of South Australia. Most likely just the current song but you never know
I may have mentioned this a while back but it seems like this thread's getting some interest as of late so I thought I'd share what I believe is currently the best lead we have to finding the song.
In 1993, a set of CDs were released with re-recordings of the club songs by singer John R...
I think I posted this in another thread, but rerecorded versions of all the club songs were released as a set of CDs in 1993, and I believe Richmond and Adelaide's songs are the only ones on YouTube. If the Bears second theme song was released on CD, I'm sure it would have been this, and if not...
The song can be heard at the end of a North Melbourne-Brisbane game
There was a set of CDs released in 1993 with each of the club songs. Richmond and Adelaide's songs are on YouTube, Richmond's sounds like it could potentially be the same singer. Even if Brisbane's song on the CD isn't the one...
This thread is on the WAFL board, I would reccomend posting on one of these threads:

I've been trying to find a copy for quite a while. I think there's an old Sturt-Port game on YouTube where you can faintly hear the song in the background.
Yeah, I've heard that version a couple times playing in the background of old games. It sounds a bit like this choir performance of the song from 1989, but it would've been recorded a few years before then
I can't find any evidence that this song was played outside of the 1997 grand final. Can't hear it in the background of any other old games on YouTube and the current song was also recorded in 1997. It might've been a once-off for the grand final
One game per week is on Channel 7, you should be able to watch on the 7 Plus website, even in Victoria. Front Row Screens on YouTube also broadcast one or two games each round. Sometimes the club's Facebook page does a live stream or you might find a radio broadcast online
Thanks, I've tried to get in contact with Barry Ion and Peter Plus, the best I was able to find was a Facebook page which I sent a message to and haven't heard back from.
As part of the 1989 Grand Final Pre-game entertainment, the Pembroke Girls Choir performed all of the SANFL Club Songs. Here is Woodville's song, still not the official recording yet.
