I typed that last post when the Mavs closed to within 8 about 7 minutes into the 3rd, then went to the gym as the Celtics started their 14-0 run to basically end the game. The 1st half from the Celtics was superb.

Not at all. For instance this year we play the Eagles twice within 7 rounds, Collingwood twice in 10 rounds. If we had the same gap between games against Carlton we could paly them a 2nd time in the 2nd half of the season. The fixture is littered with teams who play an opposition twice before...

I'm obviously not cut out to be an AFL medico. When a guy comes to me saying he's got some discomfort in the hamstring, I'd get it scanned at that point. If it returns nothing then let him play. Why wait a couple of weeks and a couple of games before getting it scanned?

Knowing his luck he'd have lingering pain after which scans would show a hairline fracture of the femur. To be honest he'd probably take that atm.
