Not at all. For instance this year we play the Eagles twice within 7 rounds, Collingwood twice in 10 rounds. If we had the same gap between games against Carlton we could paly them a 2nd time in the 2nd half of the season.

Yes. And if that's the case he should get a strong talking to for potentially putting himself ahead of the team. Bad luck if he snaps his sore hammy in q1 and puts himself out of action for a month or more.

When a guy comes to me saying he's got some discomfort in the hamstring, I'd get it scanned at that point. If it returns nothing then let him play. Why wait a couple of weeks and a couple of games before getting it scanned?
