I wanted to respond to a post regarding a young Essendon supporter's analysis of the Dogs, but not on the main board. Yes, I do have issues with my teachers! My Dad was one, so I got both barrels,as a son and as a pupil, of the "do as I say because I know best" authoritarianism so common amongst teachers. Not that I'm saying all teachers are the same. My main beef was with the abuse of the English language- verbosity etc, which is why I quibbled about waffly comments when plain language would be preferable. Teachers are certainly not the worst when it comes to filler, cliches and jargon. So, nothing personal against you RBTD. All the best for 09, I hope you're looking forward to the footy as much as me!
