Couldn’t watch in real time. What an amazing performance. Clung on for a quarter and then exploded. Have Cuthbo back (onya buddy) makes such a difference to how we structure up and allows Pugh and Stannett more freedom to rebound. Tighe up forward also makes us much more dangerous.

I think an extra week off could help - but if I was a Crows fan I’d be filthy if I had to have three weeks between H&A and first final. Maybe they play our prelim next week and then the winner gets a week off before the GF??

Wooooooooooo, some win!! Over at Arden Street, I was hopeful, but not optimistic. Well, the girls said "hold my beer". Or shandy. Or fizzy water, whatever...

Hayley Miller! You f***ing legend, her and Bowers so powerful in the midfield. I was getting a wee bit frustrated with Bowers kept throwing the ball on the boot, but eventually that surge footy proved too much for North and they got gassed in that third, we ran the legs off them.....amazeballs! What an incredible on the road win, we're a strong contested side which suits Finals, we had some firepower operating today and we kicked straight....got the job done. So very proud of the ladies, in the face of adversity and a parochial crowd, not to mention the continual w*nkfest from the commentators giving one the irrits! North this...North that. Well, how ya like them Apples Jase..?!

Shoved it up 'em, good an propa! Scintillating performance ladies, they couldn't get them off the TV quick enough though.....up yours Victoria, Channel 7 and all your goons and gurning androids. We're heading for the Prelim, see you there princesses - suck it up! :p :shoutyoldman:

Channel 10 has reported that Bowers is facing a potential match review penalty.
Very hard to tell from the quick vision whether it was deliberate, high or severe

It was slightly late and looked like she suffered from being the harder body. There would be nothing in it in the mens game, who knows in aflw.

I presume it wasn’t to the NM player that got concussion, because if it was, case over I guess.

Last quarter it might have been. There was a free kick paid and the NM player was holding her hands to her mouth as she got up and took the kick. It was a shepherd much closer to the play (prob within 5m) than the incident in the game vs WB.

Chose to bump or block (can't tackle in that situation), possible high contact, but low impact. Is that fine or suspension or just a free kick?

Bowers didn’t see the north player until the last second and braced for the impact. Should be nothing to see here, but being Freo in the finals they’ll probably give her 2 weeks

I was worried about it when I saw it. There didn't seem to be a lot to it, but there wasn't when she got suspended earlier in the season either. Crossing fingers.
