Saw the last 2 min of the half. What’s the quick summary of the first half?

Francis has no forward craft and understanding.
Literally just flies at everything with no understanding of what is needed.

In the last 15 seconds Wright had a 1v1 in the goal square against a guy literally 10cm shorter than him, and Francis flies anyway and ends up spoiling Wright.

Close to the most basic player on our list. Got to know the situation better than that.

He’s also not a forward though. We have a strange infatuation with having to switch every players position

How is it that I was squinting at my iPhone whilst half watching a show with the kids and I still managed to see Bryan get his foot to the ball yet the blind maggot 2 metres in front of him said he dropped it? I had to rewind the footage to make sure and now I’ve got no idea what this show is about that I’m supposed to be tuned into… 🙄

Yep, no idea why that was called a free (he clearly kicked it).

Caldwell was going to coast in that chase on O'Meara then dug in and nearly caught him anyway. We need better first intention than that sort of effort accross the whole midfield.

Glad someone else noticed that. He’s the worst offender with that of all the midfielders

It's not in their first instincts to run, plenty of examples of it across the board tonight. The fact we don't run hard to create options to move the ball down the ground is a big reason why we have to stop and kick long so many times, you can't create space on your opponent when you're just jogging around the place.

That’s the standard of umpiring at the highest level and yet the players are supposed to not react to utter howlers. How about the umps up their game and make it less frustrating for the players who are making the play. Kudos to Bryan for not reacting but the reality is I’d rather see my players passionately disagreeing with blatant nonsense. The commentators probably just let it slide too. My phone was muted so I can’t be sure but odds are they said stuff all about it (do the commentators also cop 50 metres for calling out buffoonery?).

Nup.

Ham in much better VFL form, and Lord struggling to keep up with VFL level.
If we think Ham is getting flamed, Lord would be far worse.
Far worse than 4 disposals?? Lol, bring it on.

Was not mentioned by any of the commentators.

I really like Hobbs, think he'll make it. Same with Bryan.
Will say we've got some players
Wright, martin, hobbs, bryan, perkins, reid, draper, caldwell.
Mcgrath looks so much better in defence. Id argue francis would too.
Shame durham isnt out there

Parish and merrett really missing 2021 stringer

We are getting slaughtered out of the middle. Need to adjust. That should've been recalled tho..
