It was clearly an accident, he wouldn't have even pushed him if Gardner didn't run into him first, from that point he is just pushing him off and it's unlucky the umpire is there

Gardener did nothing wrong. Players run into each other off the ball all the time. What you can't do is push your opponent which is what Hipwood did. In no way was it an accident. Even the tribunal found him guilty of doing it on purpose.

There is no chance it was an accident and he was lying through his teeth when he said he didn't see the umpire. He knew exactly what he was doing.
What a load, the only person who truly knows if he saw him is Hipwood. You're stating what you want to be true with no way of knowing if it is.

It is a free for a push way off the ball yes, but we cannot know if it was intentional to push him into the umpire.

The umpire was right in his field of vision wearing hi-vis so unless he is blind then there is no way he did not see him.

You absolutely can and every single forward does it 100 times a game?

Thats a crazy take? its called forward craft

In the words of Max Gawn "Thats RuckForwardcraft big boy!"

Should've been 6 weeks, but only because he plays for brisbane. Hate those campaigners
What a joke of a team. Switta goes to the tribunal, cops 2 for a chicken wing. Jarrod Berry does a chicken wing a few weeks later (not exactly the same as Switta but still) ... DOESN'T EVEN GET LOOKED AT by the Match Review.

Can't wait to watch those Brissy campaigners fail again in September.

Good. Glory's injury list last season was a joke.

How can you injure yourself playing soccer? Whenever I've bothered to watch a game they roll around on the ground pretending they are hurt or they are kissing each other after a goal.

Similar impact injuries to footy. Concussions. ACLs. Lots of hamstring/calve stuff. Broken arms and wrists. Not as many shoulder injuries other than for keepers (surprise surprise)

Have had players break opponents legs, damage ankles or knees in bad tackles before too.

Also your summary of the sport reeks of the same energy West Coast fans have when they get uppity about derby wins in our favour just FYI ;)

Are we cheering Geelong tonight?

If Brisbane and Freo win all of Melbourne, Geelong, Brisbane and Freo would be on 48 points with Bris/Melb, Geel/Carl, Freo/Melb to come, Bris/Carl, Melb/Carl to come.
I'd almost prefer Melbourne to just beat everyone that's competing for spots with us. Keep everyone else away from second spot.

Which of our midfielders can kick one from outside 50 like Petracca does?
