Malthouse wasn't a failure at his second club though...

But don't let that get in the way of digging the boots into north.

Also the Barassi reference is folly, he didn't get a flag but he completely revamped the joint and they went from being a perennial laughing stock for 20 plus years to narrowly losing a prelim and making a GF in the 2 years after he left

And one of my all time favourites Get Smart, also Hogans Heroes and Dads Army was pretty good too.
Somebody mentioned Jed being stuck on 99 earlier on today.

My thoughts went straight to Max likes this post , hahaha

There would only be one thing worse than losing Clarko at this point...... Losing him to *
They can’t afford him, Truck is contracted for 2023.

Besides, can you honestly see Clarko;
1. doing a full 180 and reneging on a deal he’s verbally commited to with his old club who he publicly said he would coach.
2. effectively ‘white ant’ a fellow head coach who is still under contract. He’s not Ross Lyings.
3. drop everything and join a joke like *scum because one of their supporters tries to get traction for a petition 🤣

All will be sweet family.

PS: It won’t stop Croc-o-shit media headlines tomorrow with “a new player emerges in the hunt for Clarkson” or “Clarkson prepared to listen to offers from third club” BS..

If Clarkson wants the * job now if Rutten was to be sacked, then we have dodged a bullet.

Do you really want a coach who is only taking the job because his other choice wasn’t available?

You can look at it that way, but it in reality it would be a blow of massive proportions to the club. One that could result in board falling apart, an already dysfunctional footy department ending up in a mass walkout and losing key players at the same time. We would take years to recover.
