I don't think the media really care. They've got the scalp they need to lambast us (rightly) for a week, but then the focus switches to the finals and we're irrelevant again. There'll be some more reporting whenever we sign a new coach, but nothing crazy. A dysfunctional Essendon keep provising easy stories, why would they want to shut that off?

According to Barham on Friday it was a process but the process was Xavier and Wellman asking around, making a shortlist and a recommendation to the board.

These board clowns have long turned this great club into a coffee hangout. No wonder Dodoro always has that stupid smirk on his face. He knows his job is safe because the club is not serious about winning, thus have accepted mediocrity. I think it's down to us fans to really force change; Don't buy a membership, don't rock up to games but as I type this, I know this would never happen.
