Just read an article on AFLW.
They’ve just surveyed the women and they are now not happy that they are doing unpaid overtime. They are also not happy that they are not getting equal access to club medical staff etc.

The AFL has opened up a can of worms here that is going to cost millions before head office has the balls to say enough is enough.

Im onboard for the most part but the constant demands for more are wearing very thin.

Unpaid overtime - I'd be annoyed too.

Not getting full access to medical staff at the same employer - yep, pretty poor.

As far as I can see if you want to have a competition labelled AFLW then you have to accept that they need to be treated equivalently to the males. Not in pay, not in number of coaching/support staff. But basics such as not being paid for work and not getting medical support, yep basic must get.

But then, it's the AFL so what am I thinking they would have thought all this through?
