He has another year on his contract. Clearly this injury is not helpful, but all is not lost.

Whether he remains on the list next year is a decision for the club in October,. But he’s not chewing up any cap being pretty much a base wage player so no reason injury progress permitting, that they’ll give him one last chance in 2024, given he is contracted.
