They did not wait for the 15th then, confirmed it this morning that Steene would join us,I think I am happy with this I did not see a need for Oleg Markov.
I read before the trade period that the club had an eye on someone called Oscar Steene and I did want to get a developing ruck or ruckfor at the draft but now understand why we did not, good luck Oscar give it your best effort.
If he is 204cm and 95kg+ he is no midget and it is good to look at life post Cox And Cameron.
Delist him forthwith we cannot have 201cm ruckman, seriously they have been spruiking him at 204 cm for weeks now, he looks at least 4 or 5 cm taller than Begg and looks like at a 1st ruck.well he was only 201cm this morning....but that was early
Delist him forthwith we cannot have 201cm ruckman, seriously they have been spruiking him at 204 cm for weeks now, he looks at least 4 or 5 cm taller than Begg and looks like at a 1st ruck.
Train him up to CHF or FF when Checkers calls time?Good luck to him... Probably the end of Begg as a ruckmen.
Nah not good enough I think.Train him up to CHF or FF when Checkers calls time?
Good luck to him... Probably the end of Begg as a ruckmen.
A Collingwood 6 footer takes on new meaning in the 2020’sDelist him forthwith we cannot have 201cm ruckman, seriously they have been spruiking him at 204 cm for weeks now, he looks at least 4 or 5 cm taller than Begg and looks like at a 1st ruck.
Contested marks at training are way easier then at game level.Begg has been training as a ruck forward, 2nd ruck type player. You can tell his improvement has come on, he is stronger, taking contested marks and performing strongly in the ruck.
Think Oscar will be more your 1st ruck type player.
But I imagine in the VFL, they'll rotate between ruck and forward.
Yeah, definitely. Needs to incorporate it into games; but he does look stronger now, which will help stopping from being pushed under the ball.Contested marks at training are way easier then at game level.
Steene looks good
Looking at the size of his hands and he already has tree stump legs.Yeah, definitely. Needs to incorporate it into games; but he does look stronger now, which will help stopping from being pushed under the ball.
But yeah, Steene does look good, just gets to work. He doesn't care if the players are older than him, he'll compete
Yup, plenty of development to go. He'll be a big boy.Looking at the size of his hands and he already has tree stump legs.
I'm thinking he still has a little growing to go.
Kid will be a monster.
