How no club has selected a player to shut him down V them is staggering. He turned to water when Guelfi played on him. Clubs need to get better to ensure LDU has no competition this year
lol Port tried on the weekend and Daicos tore him to shreds. They showed footage On the Couch: not only is Daicos sublimely skilled and fast and agile, but he's a genius level footballer for his age. The kid is absolutely ridiculous and it wouldn't surprise me at all to see him win the Brownlow this year.

tbh, Daicos and LDU are probably the two hottest and most talked about players in the league atm, and that's a good thing for LDU and us when you consider how much of the football conversation Collingwood dominate in a normal year, let alone when they're playing the most exciting footy seen since Geelong in '07.

Considering LDU's history against Hawthorn is good he may be lining up for another perfect 10.
Mitchell's no slouch. He'll have a plan for Luke, likely involving Maginness, and maybe also involving some physical work from Newcombe and co. I'd be focusing less on what Luke might do this week, though hopefully he has another solid one, and more on the chance for Cunners, Powell, Greenwood and (maybe) Phillips to really do some damage

Maginness usually tags outside-oriented players. Unlikely of course he gets a perfect 10. Honestly I'll just take being 3-0.

If Maginness is gonna tag LDU he better be prepared for a fair few whacks from Cunnington, Greenwood and Zurhaar. It won't be an easy mission for the young fella.

Reckon Luke will be getting a decent block from Cunners, Powell and Greenwood. Good luck getting through that and still getting near Luke as he powers away from the stoppage.

How good is it to have a legitimate Brownlow/coaches award contender, legitimate rising star contender, and maybe as well a legitimate Coleman contender.

There have been other teams that have had a barren 21st century in terms of flags, but they’ve had someone pop up for an individual award here and there. Been far too long for us on all these fronts.

It's great. This is while a potential AA calibre FB and two top 5 pick mids aren't even in the team. Then we get to the end of the year and we've got another two first round picks to put into what looks like a great football system. Green shoots galore.

Can also see Bull continuing to spend a lot more time in there again this week with firm instructions from Clarko to protect Lukey.

I wasn’t sold before last weekend. But it makes sense. Cam is actually a great centre-square extractor and accelerates from the contest with ease.
