If your opinion on the club is different because you support them, then your opinion is compromised, not mine. FWIW in the years between 2017-2020, I picked us to win the flag 3/4 times. We won 2/3 & lost i a Prelim in the other. Point being, when this team was actually good - i have backed them in to win it all. This year, we just aint that good.

We are only playing good footy for approximately 20% of the game. We only kicked 4 goals over the other 3 quarters.

OK. I will explain it further.

Reading all the Richmond supporters here, they want to lean on the 15 minutes we played well. Not the 65 minutes we were very shit, boring & dull.

It reminds me of when a man would walk into a whorehouse and think - wow, i am awesome at the sex. I am going to sex it up here ! I wont get 30 minutes, or 1 hour. I will get TWO hours. Because i am so awesome at the sex, thats how long i wlll be awesome for!

Then, after 15 minutes they have ejaculated & they can no longer sex. So they spend the next 1.45hr lightly chatting about whatever other boring shit they have going on in their life instead of spending that time having the great sex they originally imagined they would be spending. The example i used was perhaps they would chat about their "in box" toy collection, as they foolishly think that is interesting to other people..... when in actual fact the only person that finds that interesting..... is them.


The metaphor is Richmond plays 15 minutes of good footy and then the supporters spend an entire week trying to make that 15 minutes the most important 15 minutes of that match. When actual fact, we lost the game. The most important part of this game is the result.

I am far more concerned by the poor performance reflected over the entire game, & not the 15 minutes where we had some momentum going in the 2nd quarter.
