I admit I was sceptical on Samson earlier in the season. Looked lost a lot of the time IMHO, and then was getting to the ball but just wasn't smart or strong enough to compete. He's getting the smarts real quick and now the needs the muscle more than the 50-60 games I reckon.

He was the one thing that made me happy today. I've always believed he could make it as a ruck/forward. Needs to be played all year with the odd rest. I love his competitiveness as he dances around waiting for the umpire to bounce the ball in the centre. Add another 20 kg of muscle and look out!

Lewis unlike alot of the other pundits I feel gets our game the most.

he was pointing out how predictable his tap work was and he was right. too many times have oppo just waited and got the clearances of our hit outs. Even Nank does this.

He’s coming along very well and quickly. His ruckwork is already quality and we seem to have the balance of splitting his time fwd and ruck just right so that we don’t over cook him or leave him in starvation corner
