Weagles only need to fall by another half a percent, and they will sit just above the debut GWS side, which was a side of kids and old vets.

Essendon have had this long running reputation of being terrible at playing interstate. I dont'' know the statistics but it did make me think that Freo were prob going to win last night.

Essendon can play well sometimes but they just don't seem to have a really solid foundation. It flows their way and it all goes well, or it doesn't. Hard side to predict.

Pretty funny to think we thought were ever a chance to finished below West Coast for number 1 pick.

I just heard on the radio they have the worst percentage halfway through a year since any team since WW2! They are going worse than Fitzroy in their last year which is pretty amazing for a rich, powerful club like the Eagles.

And I honestly don't think they have hit bottom yet, next week's game against the Lions at the Gabbatoir will be like the old days of Ancient Rome (throwing Chirstians to the Lions for the crowds entertainment).

You need to take the glasses off.
The kid is seriously good - reads the play so well and runs himself to the right position everytime

It’s hard for media not to get excited, just need to temper it because without Pendles and Mitchell maybe he doesn’t get those same opportunities

The kid is fantastic.
He does not have an opponent though, and plays an outside role either in "defence" or in the midfield that is guaranteed to give a high possession count.

He is an absolute jet, and an elite kick. His output is what should be expected for the role he plays
