been a liability. He shits me
He has the Sidam Touch this year: he turns most 50/50s into a loss.

The only thing he does do well is put his body on the line to trap the ball in for a ball-up. The danger here is that half the time he is called holding the ball. The most basic of skills like looping a handball over the opposition’s outstretched arms im results in error. It is debilitating and demoralising for any player to completely eff these types of fundamental footy actions, but for your captain to fail at them is just not good enough. Own up to the fact that you aren’t playing good enough, head back to the VFL for a month to find some touch because at this stage for a couple of 19 YOs and a 23 YO to be leading the way with any care factor is shameful.

Match Committee pulls him in for a meeting this week. How do you think you are going Luke? Great I love the club.

We have given a bloke the role as onfield leader based on him loving the club and not his leadership.

Amateur hour.

This decision should never have been given to the players.

Right up there with trading for Jared Polec in the 2018 super draft as stupidest list management decisions the club has made in the last 2 decades.

I posted more or less the same thing on Twitter after the game. If that's his brief he's done well, but I don't suspect it is. I reckon he's just getting caught a lot. Not questioning his courage or ability, but he's horribly out of touch.

I'm not sure I want to blame everything on him but what was the point of chucking him in the back pocket for all those years? Limiting him to just being a 15 possession player with the odd lockdown effort is such a poor development curve.

I ****ing hate that he has become a footballer that is a C grader, but I can't help but feel disgusted at the fact we basically wasted his potential with only 2020 being the time we gave him some run in the centre.

His draft profile was impressive so why not rotate him through the middle? Brad was such a pussy of a coach refusing to change things up in the middle until Crocker tried Jacobs as a tagger. So shithouse.

****ing woeful development for a player that went at pick 8. If we rated him that highly, PLAY AND DEVELOP HIM PROPERLY FROM THE BEGINNING!

Under a Collingwood or Geelong development curve, he would be a great player no doubt about it. Shameful development with no real long term planning process.

As well, At least three bomb it long kicks marked near 50 by crows. Under minimal to no pressure. Kills us every week. No composure. He calls for it, gets it and butchers it. Reminds me of jmac like that. Hangs kicks up and they get picked off. Compare the rebound exits by sheezel or bergman. Its chalk and cheese. And frankly disgraceful that he hasnt learned or been held to account.

There is no way he was ever an afl midfielder. No agility, no handball skills. Too one sided. Really poor user by foot under pressure. Best skills are his legitimate hardness and when he is confident, his intercept marking. Thats it.
