There are some serious players in the pipeline who are QLD born and bred. Top end talent.

The QLD teams have everything to lose and an AFL Hardwick appointment would be almost the last piece in the puzzle.

QLD footy is going well. Allies just won the nationals under 18s with some Suns academy prospects at the top end of that. The I have a fair amount of inside knowledge on the Suns as an organisation and they are doing a hell of a lot right. I’ve been fortunate to attend many events functions dinners etc. through my employment that puts us in touch with Bob East, Mark Evans, Wayne Campbell and a few of the other movers there. One thing for certain is they won’t accept mediocre results. Dew struggled to elevate that group to the next level. Right call IMO with a coach of the caliber of Dimma on the market
