HEAR ME OUT. Carlton beat Brisbane, Carlton fans reach an all time high in arrogance, GWS beat Port, then Collingwood, then steamroll Carlton in the grand final.

It's the best outcome we've got at this point I think.

Apart from finals pressure due to the close score, the standard of that game was reasonably ordinary. Both Caaaarton and the Demons made a lot of mistakes under little or no pressure and didn't play much coordinated team footy. We aren't that far off these teams really. The Lions will obliterate the Blues.

Melbourne have totally under performed for what talent they have.
Gawn , Oliver , Pettracca , May , Lever , Grundy , Brayshaw - pretty sure these guys have all been All Australians.
For a team loaded with talent , the coach really needs looking at - they have won a flag but they should over won one or 2 more.
In a couple years there best players will be past there prime and they have them on long term contracts and they will crater like WCEs

Carlton should be whacked hard for it. You want to put player welfare at risk because it's a final. Start the season on -20 premiership points.
