OK, I've removed about three pages of posts.

Please do not use this thread to speculate about Oliver's private life – medical or otherwise.

Regardless of the veracity of your rumour, or what you know/have heard, if it's not public knowledge, just don't post it.

I don't want to turn this place into Demonland, but if you can't see the potential harm that this sort of rumour-spreading can cause (regardless of your intentions), then perhaps it's best if you take a bit of a break.

Thanks.

Think the same honestly, the issue is now that his issues are out in the open we won't get much if anything back in a trade with the contract he's on. So strictly from a value sense it makes more sense to keep him. If we ship him off there will be the usual cries from the media "Melbourne deserted him" too, Its a tough situation.

I've been strong on trading him but I think the best thing right now is to hold and see where it takes us next year.

Yes we cant trade him now, maybe an overseas holiday that does not involve DJ's, Drugs or alcohol would be a good start for him.

Would be shattered if he ever left (even my dog is named Clarry).

So sleepwalking is light work fellas. Woke up at 3am mid coitus with the mrs. As I came to my senses I said to her something was wrong. Turned out the dinger had broken, so I thus averted the arrival of little crims.

To this day I have no idea how I made it happen.

Not a word of a lie.

Nup, you'll have to dumb that down for me.

Everyone telling crazy sleepwalking stories in the middle of whatever happened to Oliver (hopefully he's getting help with whatever it is), meanwhile I used to sleepwalk all the time in Primary School but the best story I have is "When I was 7 I tried to drag my quilt to the family car. Don't have a garage and my mum catches me trying to go out the front door and tells me to get back to bed. The next morning she asked me what I was up to and I had no idea what she was on about. Don't remember trying to take my blanket off my loft bed, going down and then up the bed ladder with it in tow."

The Blokes had a frustrating year and it has obviously affected him. He's a Melbourne champion and future legend, the last thing that needs to happen now is him leaving or being palmed off.

has anywhere other than that bullshit Zero Hanger page, reported it as a seizure?

seems legit

However, on Thursday evening, Seven Chief Football Reporter Mitch Cleary provided further detail on Oliver's condition, claiming a seizure was the source of the head injury.

"The Melbourne midfielder suffering what 7News understands was a seizure that resulted in a head injury," Cleary reported.

Takes more than a couple of drinks id say. Either way I think it would be wise for him to probably lay off the booze also right now.

You'd hope the club had told him that.
Dont disagree

But the stigma of OD'ing v falling over pissed is vastly different. And the story changes drastically

100% ...way to throw fuel on the fire MFC.

Just come out and say what's going on or dont bother.
Something along the lines of…

‘We can confirm that Clayton Oliver was taken to hospital for scans and has been released and is at home recovering. The MFC believes that Oliver had engaged in a 3 day bender with a fellow group of reprobates and blaggards in which significant portions of Michael Caine were blasted along with hundreds of pots of Carlton draught (made from beer)’

I have the feeling you aren’t going to get the honesty you’re after.

And here I thought the club was good at lying.

Clayton went to hospital with a bump on the noggin and possible broken bones. My diagnosis...

BAD BABYSITTING

points finger at Max Gawn.

Allegedly he had a seizure.

Nothing suss.

"Seizures are a common toxic complication of numerous drugs and poisons, as well as drug withdrawal syndromes. Studies have estimated that 6% of new‐onset seizures and up to 9% of status epilepticus cases are due to drug toxicity 1, 2. Several case series have identified a variety of drugs and other substances associated with seizures 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. Antidepressants, diphenhydramine, stimulants (including cocaine and methamphetamine), tramadol and isoniazid account for the majority of cases."

I'm pretty sure most of us with our head not in the sand know what a seizure would most likely be connected to , doesn't mean he had anything that night however.
