Broady seems to have matured a lot since his 2017 grand final antics! Does a lot of media lately and speaks very well!

The captain for mine has to be one of the 10 best players on the team and someone that is young enough to hold the position for 4-5 years.
Baker, Short or Taranto as a captain then guys like Broad, Lynch, Vlastuin to fill out the leadership group, obviously if Dusty wants in he will also be apart of it

I still think Nank will be captain, Yze will love him. Hopefully he has him concentrating on his tap work that Dimma ignored.

Hopefully not. His Ruck work and form has been awful in recent times. Perhaps the captaincy is affecting him.
I like the idea of Lynch, Baker and Taranto as out three leaders. One as captain, the other two as vice captains. I'm not locked into who should be what but, if I was forced to choose, it would be Lynch as Captain with Baker and Taranto as Vice Captains.
Lynch, because he is a pivotal player and leader within our side. He's more experienced and in the older age bracket. We have seen what happens when he is absent and when he is up and about, he can completely change the momentum of the game single handed. He has already been a captain and has learned from Jack and Cotch in his time at our club. He would have evolved his leadership skills and learned how to become a better captain as a result. He would be our forward leader.
Taranto, is our midfield leader. He is our best and most reliable, midfielder. He is a popular member of the side already and has close connections to many of our instrumental players. Like Lynch, he can lift the team on his back and turn the game on his own.
Baker, is a developing leader. eventually, I think he will become an inspirational captain. He is already an inspirational on-field leader. I feel he needs more time learning how to become a leader before moving into the lead job. Making him Vice Captain, and leader of the backline under Grimes, will give him the opportunity to do that.
Regardless of whether either of these three become Captain, I think we need to move away from the two captain experiment....

left field suggestion... Daniel Rioli could be a great option. takes a lot of the younger players, especially the indigenous ones under his wing.
