What's even more ludicrous is that when I have brought this up before some Richmond supporters think there is nothing going on.

All evidence indicates if Vlastuin played for Geelong he would have multiple AA selections and if Stewart played for any other club he would have reduced AA selections by a multiple factor.

In reality they both should have roughly similar amount of AA selections, 2-3.

All Australian side is a farce just like the Brownlow. He should've had 2 or 3 already. Dusty, Richo, Deledio plenty of Tigers were ignored for spuds. I'd be amazed if he gets one this year because some unaccountable defender who's team finishes top 2 and is under minimal pressure gets the nod over a bloke under siege who repels non stop. Fact is with our injuries and kids we're gonna have so many losses by 60+ points by seasons end his opponents will start kicking a few bags here and there. On his day Lynch can kick 8 goals on Darcy Moore

If you were coaching against the tigers he’s the only one you would worry about from that perspective.

Throwing Vlastuin forward next year seems like our best move to not only compete in the air but also take some marks on the lead and to keep a good opposition defender accountable so they can’t just peel off and intercept. It might be an unpopular idea but I believe it’s the right thing to do

Half forward is a half-marathon of running to cover the fat side of the ground in defence and then sprinting into forward 50 to crumb the marking contest or get in behind the defence. I love Nick, but these are not his strengths. Half back is either a rebound defender (like Rioli) or an intercept marking role. Nick has made that intercept marking role his own. He's elite. You don't change that.

Strong disagree from me. Play our players where they are best. The ball probably won't be down there much either. Keep him back. Back in our youngsters up forward. Surround a fit Lynch (fingers crossed) with Bauer, Lefau/Fawcett (not Kosi) and MRJ, Lalor, Clarke, Mansell and Campbell and they'll compete well. Balta will no doubt end up swinging through there at times (prefer him down back to be fair) as well.
