That move was probably more about knowing that we wouldn’t use our second rounders so there was no point having them.

We possibly thought Windsor could be available with the pick at that time as well - no way we made that move because Tholstrup was the specific target.

Surely if you got 2 x 2nd rounders you don’t want to use in 2024, you trade them for 2x2nd rounders in 2025 instead of pissing them away.

Also, our strategy over the past 5+ years seems to be focused on bringing everything possible forward, and worrying about next year in 12 months time - it’s worked pretty well to be fair.

Someone would at least do 2x 2024 2nd rounders picks for 1 2025 2nd rounder at its absolute worse and we still would have come out better

Jefferson playing in front benefited marking a hack kick as if he was leading to the ball. Converts from 35-40 out on a tighter than 45 degree angle. Solid looking kick.
