Agree, they may have said we are happy to go and st kilda have said only if we get overs. They’re all wasting their time if this is news to St Kilda!
I can’t see stkilda wanting to get rid of him.

Awesome... we should maintain the rage to put pressure on other team's salary caps... but hopefully we can actually land a decent player or 2.Warner bids ramp up as WA clubs circle; managers using Crows to drive up prices? Trade Whispers
$1.5m bids in ‘one of footy’s biggest ever chases’; managers’ secret Crows plot: Trade Whisperswww.foxsports.com.au
MANAGERS USING CROWS TO DRIVE UP PRICES?
AFL clubs believe players managers are using the Adelaide Crows to drive up the price of their clients, reports the Herald Sun’s Sam Landsberger.
The Crows have missed out on several big-name stars over the last year including Errol Gulden, Mason Redman, Hugh McCluggage and Elliot Yeo.
And while Adelaide’s interest in such names was reportedly genuine, there’s a view that the club’s interest has been strongly leveraged to boost players’ value.
“There is a belief managers are using Adelaide as a stalking horse to drive up the prices of their players,” Landsberger said on Fox Footy’s Midweek Tackle.
“Adelaide has missed out on a lot of players over the past 12 to 18 months ... they clearly went after them.
“(Giants director) Jimmy Bartel has said this publicly and other clubs believe it as well. Managers are using Adelaide, get an offer from them, then go back to the original club and get a better (deal).
“Sydney matched Adelaide's offer of 10 years for Errol Gulden. Sydney wasn’t offering Errol Gulden 10 years without that from Adelaide first.”
That's (dis)turbing! How come players can be described as disgruntled but never as gruntled?
Sydney got him for that because he had gone backwards for the previous three years.
Was that due to circumstances? It certainly seems like it now - but how many people on this board were pro-Grundy a year ago? Anyone?
The discussion is comparing Grundy's trade value last year - when he was a reserves footballer - with Marshall's now.
It's ridiculous to compare them.
Grundy and Gawn couldn’t work together, they tried, it didn’t work. Eventually the gave up trying to play BOTH.
how are you the only person who doesn’t know that?
Berry doesn't have other offers, and our offer obviously isn't that good, so he's put off signing to hopefully stake a claim as a best 22 player and therefore get an improved offer from us.He’d be crazy to stay here, IF he has offers
I doubt we are even involved.
Player managers don't need a single bit of truth to float a club out there to drive up a price.
Just like the 'Tex might leave' rubbish.
Yeah nah, not falling for your usual diversion when you know you are wrong, keep to the argument . Your ridiculous assessment of Rohan Marshall as a footballer and his trade value as pointed out by anyone who knows anything about football including Tom Morris. Are you talking about you?
Or datgruntled? How come players can be described as disgruntled but never as gruntled?
Why would he leave Blues for us.
Red horse has bolted.
Sorry about going back to Tex but for comparison
Are you keeping Hawkins on your list for 2025?
Not sure. The agents are the grapevine between clubs; including st Kilda
What’s Laird worth?
Go for him now, now his value has increased.
He's the 3 point turn coach.Managers are using Adelaide, get an offer from them, then go back to the original club and get a better (deal).
You know he works for us because he’s bald.
He was a crows supporter? Why would he leave Blues for us.
