After the fate of the ocean liner the Titan in Morgan Robertson's early science fiction novel 'Futility', the Titanic in 1912, a freighter called the Titanian scraping an iceberg off Cape Race but managing to avoid sinking in the North Atlantic in the 1930s and the Titan submersible, clearly having any maritime vessel with 'Titan' as part of its name is a really bad idea.

I'm surprised they found such large parts of wreckage from the Titan, I thought at this depth and the associated pressure it would be completely destroyed within seconds and leave only fragments.
