I prefer yellow logo myself but I understand what they are trying to do, the execution not all there

The new alt strip is just gold (or yellow, I guess) and blue.

In many of our seasons, the main kit barely had blue, if any. Just red and gold. While the clash had most of the blue, but no red. So it’s not much different—they’ve just split the colours completely, rather than have them blend. Red, then yellow+gold.



I think with some tweaking, this could be a good jumper. It would definitely work as an EPL jumper or something (like a Liverpool), but AFL is usually a little less subtle with its icons and wants things that contrast or stand out. Which is why I think this one is a bit weird.

But hell, as long as we win, I could’t care less. Hopefully this is just a fresh start, letting all the old baggage go.

I disagree. I think there have been some great designs and yes, whilst they can be a Copy of other teams, there is a limit on what you can do with Stripes, Chevrons Etc.

If they Had moved the Yellow side stripes to the front that would have been am improvement over this 100 fold.

One Thicker Vertical Yellow Stripe on one side would be better.

This one, todays actual design they want to sue is pathetic and does nothing.

I tell you why I like it. We are 100% not doing anything like any of the other teams, unique. Up close the red on red looks hot – jury’s out on field, but couldn’t care less about tv if we’re swarming red jumpers forward. We own red. In a competitive market, branding to outright own a colour is strategic, red is ours now. Just have to win!

I agree with you with a lot of this, however I wouldn't say you 'own' red but rather you have 'taken' red. It's bold. Plenty of other clubs have red as a significant part of their jumper but you guys have gone really hard to be like "it's ours now." If any of Sydney, Bombers, Dogs etc were to introduce a predominantly (over 85%) red jumper, it's going to be seen as a bit of an imitation.

I think the logo is pretty good (Crows one is not even in the same stratosphere) and the yellow jumper is certainly a choice but on the whole this is a pretty great rebrand which I've been saying you guys have needed for a while. A rebrand really starts a new chapter for a club (a bit like Richmond and our current logo) and closes the book on the previous era which didn't see any success. Bombers badly need a logo change I think too in order to distance themselves from the most recent era that has been a disaster.

I reckon we will see a copycat soon enough where someone else introduces a 1 colour jumper too.

Honestly, if you make the wave patterns on the trim of the jumper gold, my opinion goes from a 6/10 to a 9/10

Personally like it. Think the logo is a bit flat, and could use something to either give it dimension or make it pop but otherwise I like it.

The all red Guernsey is going to last one year max and then they probably would change it to this anyways, but seriously why wait, I’d rather not be a laughing stock for a year and instead have a top tier guernsey for our first real finals push.

Most opposition supporters are shitting on this but they were already shitting on us before the rebrand.

We're always going to be "Fold Coast" until we start making teams fear us out on the field. Even then it probably won't be enough.

Before suns I was a bulldogs member and for years and years the supporters were crying over the bulldog face on the jumper and wanted the traditional 2 hoops then this year I saw they bought back the bulldog on the jumper and all the supporters were frothing over it saying bring it back

People seem to get outraged over the current thing it gives them an opportunity to cry in the comments on social media. Majority of people will have moved on from it in a couple of weeks to the next thing to be outraged over
