Did he play against men at all, he seemed a lot bigger and stronger in the videos.
He played 2 senior games for Woodville-West Torrens. You don't want to know his stats.

Wouldn’t really be too stressed about that. Key forward in the SANFL would have to be the absolute toughest position to come in and play as an 18 year old without a fully developed body.He played 2 senior games for Woodville-West Torrens. You don't want to know his stats.
Yeah not worried, but also not expecting him to come out and slay it in the VFL next year. Suspect he'll find it tough going and the catastrophisers will catastrophise.Wouldn’t really be too stressed about that. Most Talls do take a few years to come good
Not Expecting him to Dominate at VFL Level Straight Away
Kinder will have him delisted by round 4Yeah not worried, but also not expecting him to come out and slay it in the VFL next year. Suspect he'll find it tough going and the catastrophisers will catastrophise.
Agree, although this late in the draft in general, there are more Corey Gaults than Nick LarkeysWho's to say how they turn out?
It's not beyond the the realms of possibility that Charlie could turn out like Nick Larkey, who was pick 73 in the 2016 draft.
He has some good physical and footy attributes.
Let's just give him a chance.
Good thing this was a deep draft then. Where you are more likely to find some quality than previous years at these picks.Agree, although this late in the draft in general, there are more Corey Gaults than Nick Larkeys
Two good people for him to learn from - Checkers on the importance of patience and making the most of one's VFL apprenticeship, given that he was 24 before he was even given a shot on an AFL list, 25 before he made his debut.Checkers/Mcstay to take him under their wings hopefully
Also has Membrey to learn from as well. Two good people for him to learn from - Checkers on the importance of patience and making the most of one's VFL apprenticeship, given that he was 24 before he was even given a shot on an AFL list, 25 before he made his debut.
And McStay as probably more of a comparable size/type, and who had to bide his time switching between forward and defense in his early years, before becoming a forward whose positive impact on the side goes far beyond the number of goals he kicks. McStay has kicked 28 goals from 19 goals for us so far, but it's astounding how much better our forward line looks with him in it.
If Anthony Rocca is doing well health-wise, it would be great to have him doing some mentoring for West too, as he also had that titanic presence that went beyond the goals he kicked.
And Jamie Elliott. Also has Membrey to learn from as well.
Does he have a new alias or do we need to sign on to Reddit to learn about the delisted?Kinder will have him delisted by round 4
Already love him.
You can tell hes going to fill out to be a monsterAlready love him.
Think he will debut in 2025.
What do you base this prediction on? What have I missed?Already love him.

Just love his physique and the way he moves. What do you base this prediction on? What have I missed?
Hard to believe the numbers he put up for running with that build. Could be a big dangerous monster! You can tell hes going to fill out to be a monster

Hopefully he can play footy as well and we can look back at what a draft steal he was.
Can’t wait to see it unfold in the next couple of years
You have to temper the excitement with the acknowledgement that his actual footy stats were not massively impressive, so there's a big "IF" in terms of "can he actually play footy".Hard to believe the numbers he put up for running with that build. Could be a big dangerous monster!

I see him having real potential as a player similar to McStay, who maybe won't blow you away with footy nous and just a natural ability to find the footy, but is just a big, obstructive force who runs all day and produces good results for the forward line overall.
Just need him to learn basic forward craft and team structure, and keep his role simple.
Being a KF prob the hardest position as a growing boy. But he did kick 17 goals in 10 games, averaging about 6-7 mark a game and given he was forced to play some ruck too. That why he was there at Pick 50.
Athletic Numbers are good but Football Stats that not exacly set the world on Fire
Hopefully that Improves now with him being a Full Time Footballer
SA u18s is a fair below the Vic under18s comp, so stats aren't great.Being a KF prob the hardest position as a growing boy. But he did kick 17 goals in 10 games, averaging about 6-7 mark a game and given he was forced to play some ruck too.
Definitely has the tools, a lot of great attributes. Speed. Aggressive. MarkingSA u18s is a fair below the Vic under18s comp, so stats aren't great.
I'm bullish though. Powerful athlete who looks like he knows how to protect the drop zone and can compete on the ground.
