Cmon mate you’re off the mark. They’re willing to acknowledge Ramadan and Diwali but they won’t acknowledge Christmas? If you can’t see why this is creating a bit of stir you need to climb off the fence. They can’t have it both waysNext time I go on a holiday somewhere, I am going to get offended when someone says “Have a great time!”
How dare they dismiss my holiday!!

still going calm downNext time I go on a holiday somewhere, I am going to get offended when someone says “Have a great time!”

They say merry Christmas and stop being so woke there is no issues. No one is going to blow up at the club for saying Merry ChristmasI agree they should do one or not at all. I think its because other cultures celebrations were ignored for so long, now they are overcompensating.
But people are getting way to hung up over words used in general. Its not near as big of a deal as people make out.
20 years ago no one would have cared if you said Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays
They refuse to acknowledge the occasion but acknowledge others . That’s all.Next time I go on a holiday somewhere, I am going to get offended when someone says “Have a great time!”

I notice the club wished everyone a 'safe and happy time', yet put up a chritmas tree emoji Lame.
edit. Work this out
Wishing a blessed Ramadan is saying words isn't it?Footy club fans who always say that footy clubs shouldn’t be political getting upset that footy club doesn’t say a word is my new favourite type of melt
i just genuinely don’t think it mattersI'm not upset, it’s just a bit weak by the club.
thats fine.i just genuinely don’t think it matters
Have you ever met or known a Muslim that is offended by someone saying to them happy Xmas?I will say I don’t like how they wish a happy ramadan but not Christmas. They should either wish all or just do a generic Happy Holiday, don’t wish one but not the other, then it is divisive.
