Regardless of whether we have a game plan that involves more than one path or not, my observation is that we end up with one forward each week to have a big game. If we can find some consistency on all of our forwards kicking goals each week we'll be unstoppable. Just food for thought.

My take it on is, there's a 'template' which the players follow in the first quarter to get a feel for the other team then things start to change. The problem last year was that our players weren't capable of performing to Pykie's plans. Look at how we're running this time around.
Might be over thinking this but don't be surprised if there's a plan C and D too. I tend to follow the momentum in games and I think Pykie has a few alternatives depending on the game plan of the opposition.
Don't forget the Eagles and Sydney. On paper we have a much better team but those two teams are mental hurdles our boys have to overcome before I consider us as unstoppable come September.
Talia has grown into the defender he is on his own. Davis left the Crows, we had retirees in Truck, etc. He has earned his reputation for his entire career. It's only since last year that the rest of our backline is catching up in quality.
Called it last year, calling it now. Pyke assess each first quarter to adjust the game plan. Most games we play there is a significant change into the second quarter.
