This season is the strangest in my memory. The minor premiers and (current) premiership favourites managed to lose a game by 100+ points and also were beaten by the wooden spooners.
Certainly plenty of twists and turns to come over the finals series.
While I'm usually not a fan of the pre finals bye, can't help but feel it works in our favour this year. We have a lot of mature aged and young players both of which are going to benefit from the week off. I'm not surprised we've been fading out in second halves at the end of a long season.
They interviewed Dangerfield during one of the breaks in play, and said he was "hopeful" he would be back next week. Sounded far from a certainty however.
