Reading back a few pages i saw the Noah Yze talk and figured i'd just look around online and ended up on demonland
Someone literally said we should rookie Noah and i was going to paraphrase it but it's better as a whole
i lost it
The one solid yellow line through would have worked great. It'd only really be close to the Dogs jumper setup and they use two colours. Would have also worked to help with that surfing flag aesthetic that as i said ties the club well with its location which is something i think they should be...
Honestly if it where me i would advocate to use the surf flag colours in a more old fashioned looking kit and i think it turn out okay. Although that said doing a V would be very close to Brisbane bears like.
Modern designers also need to realise you don't need to have your own logo plastered...
I think it's okay in person. But i get what you mean. On a somewhat related note i think that crowd noise on TV these days is captured poorly so unless a really big crowd is in it sounds shite on tellie. Even then though i think some 50k crowds sound meh
I went to the 2015 game VS GWS and i...
Gold Coast have a decent kit, the red and yellow really resonate with those surf flags for me that is great for connection to their location and they have the chance to do something simple but effective with that but for some reason choose not too
That jumper looks disgusting though. They've...
I know our supporter base is very Richmond like with the hating of playing a home game at Docklands. I am also surprised that after the slow death of the last deal there that the AFL has put us back
But it aint honestly that bad of a ground, get over it
BUT ALSO ALSO, you could argue the AFL...
Not seeing in that advertising a return for talking footy so far
I actually didn't mind it prior to covid but this years "revival" should probably kill it for good
I'm happy for both reasons to be sent to Sunday. We deserved to be kicked off prime time, and i much prefer Sunday anyway
What is outstanding is how another year of missing finals for average Essendon netted them so many primetime games. Out all the Victorian clubs that played last year i would...
Watching some of the media personalities twist themselves into a knot because Dusty might be considering a gig after giving the media the ass for the best part of a decade is really funny
But also i can't imagine Dusty even on special comments being good
We could have also requested not to do it again, Carlton made it clear they didn't want to do it again
But i'm more in line to agree that i think we put our hand up again and just got cut altogether. If we did just ask not to do it we didn't make that very publicly clear
Anyways i'd also agree...
I am hopeful the Bowey can get back on the right track next season.
I also keep forgetting Spargo exists, he hasn't been quite right since that concussion in Adelaide
Okay i wasn't to know that. If only some group of people that follow AFL could have idk, conveyed that information to me somehow and i would have shut up and left it be
It's funny that Trac got the media beat up for not attending the best and fairest because he's off training, but Oliver yesterday flies under the radar failing to make the bare minimum appearance at training (optional or not)
I think it's only mandatory for 1-4 year players and optional for the others
That said i agree with what you're saying, there was a good turn out of older players and "trying hard" Oliver wasn't one of them
I don't wanna clog up AFL-non dees with cricket mainly
Anyways first ODI we scrapped through. We've had a glorious collapse in this second ODI. Only Smith has scored higher than 20 runs for us lol
Anyways will we the team sent to bat first even use all 50 overs this series?
I personally don't mind it, i don't know why there's so much freak out over it.
The old one always looked cartoony and goofy to me, i could never quite take it seriously. This is a step up in my eyes
I think we look back on that era with rose tinted glasses compared to the scoring of this era. Yeah mostly it was better. But we still had some awful scores in losses and forward entry issues
Looking through 2018
Round 4 Loss against Hawthorn 6.12 48
Round 5 Loss against Richmond 8.8 56
Then we...
