I am at the pointy end of the Brilehaven area, and I have indeed been sucked in.
Combat is so good, and broken up well with the story beats and day management. The story itself is very so so but gameplay is great.
I'm enjoying the various archetypes, although I'm playing on hard so it's taking...
This year, will try and get to The Gaslight Anthem and partner wants me to take her to Sum 41.
Next year so far looking like I will try and get to Green Day and Metallica. Maybe Knotfest.
you would have to assume if Reid is fit he'll have first crack, having said that he's never fit so...
we also got rid of Weid & Baldwin. if its Hayes v Laverde i can see Brad giving Hayes a shot has a big preseason
edit: who knows what the hell they do with Cox?
agreed with the combat, definitely improved.
i kinda miss the monster collecting/fusing though - kinda scratched the old pokemon itch (i cant play pokemon anymore, its just too easy/boring)
also agree re the missing school component. but wouldnt have wanted the same thing again either. yeah...
starting 75 Hard again today. did it earlier in the year, did enjoy.
have been working out reasonably consistently but bad habits seeping in a bit (read beers)
cant run as i have some sort of hip issue, need to see a physio i guess but cbf'd. one thing at a time.
I've started playing like 10 different games... Get a couple hours in and then go do something else and have no desire to come back. How was cyberpunk? I played through when it came out and it was disappointing
i'm in a serious slump, havent had anything hold my interest since BG3 6 months ago
anyone got any recs for smaller or indie games available on ps5 i can chew through until Veilguard comes out?
open to anything but rougelikes - they have well over worn their welcome
hired a car & drove around western norway/fjordland for 2 weeks at the start of june
amazing scenery, like just wow everywhere
driving around was a breeze. norway drivers were super chill & courteous, the roads were really well maintained, tunnels from one fjord to another everywhere & frequent...
In my garage lifting baby weights and wanting to cry lol, came back from time away from the gym while on hols losing gains and I have then been in bed crook for a week with COVID.
At least I lost another couple of kgs even though it's probably muscle not fat :'(

Recently caught Green Day in Arnhem NL, they played Dookie and American Idiot in full, hopefully they end up bringing that here...

added a couple of days in Dubai on the way over, ended up splitting the rest of the unknown week between the places above
**** i hate the plane trip over though. dreading it.
dropped in to Slovenia for a short time a couple of years ago, didnt get to Ljuljana we were just based around lake Bled for a few days.
quite liked it, the area was pretty and laid back. went whitewater rafting in the alps and did some hiking. would like to have spent more time in the country...
Last day of 75 hard. been good. I'm going to keep on with it as much as a can but will lax up for a little bit. Will basically keep going until the end of the month then not bother while on an overseas holiday and do it again when we get beck.
I did fail - had a cheeky margarita on day 73 as we...

i think it was OK first time through - however i want to do a new playthrough with the DLC and just cant be bothered with ANY of the side stuff. i just want to do the missions
