Getting trashed is actually easier to handle than losing in a close one. I've witnessed Collingwood getting trashed a few times but 2002 and 2018 still haunts me the most.
KFC is overrated. About 50% of the time I get KFC, the chicken is f**king tasteless. What happened to the 11 secret herbs and spices? I can barely taste 2.
Daicos and Buckley are better players. They often carried their team on their backs while being tagged and targeted by opposition coaches. No opposition coaches go into a game thinking they need to pay special attention to Will Ashcroft because he is the most dangerous opposition player.
I know he has fast acceleration but I didn't think he could sustain that top end speed. Anyway, that St Kilda runner should have been disqualified anyway.
Ashcroft is a good player but cannot compare him to Daicos. Daicos carried the team last year. He's our most important player. Not sure Ashcroft could carry that burden.
Sydney's insistence to play at the SCG as their home ground is the reason why they keep getting blown away in finals at the MCG. At least West Coast understood the assignment and made their ground exactly the same as the MCG. Sydney needs to switch their home ground to a bigger AFL standard ground.
If we win the next 2 matches and Freo loses their next 2 matches, then we're in the finals. That outcome is actually very realistic. Otherwise, I'd like to see Freo or GWS win their first premierships.
For all you guys blaming Fly for the poor season, you can only do so much with the cattle you have on the field. We simply do not have the quality to go toe to toe with the more skillful sides.... And you can only do so much against corrupt umpiring.
This game reminds me of the Adelaide vs Fitzroy game back in the day where the umpire cheated for Adelaide and got sacked after an investigation. There better be an inquiry during the week.
