I don't think Bice, or anyone else, getting a game is dependant on Florent not getting picked. Blakey clearly isn't going to be playing reserves unless something goes horribly wrong with his form. There are spots available in our team for anyone who is good enough. We aren't that good.

All things be equal, I think Bice is going to be right in the frame for round zero.

It doesn't make any sense that we would have drafted Bice where we drafted him unless we think he is going to be capable of playing seniors in 2025, and not just as an injury backup. Doesn't mean he will definitely be in the team against Hawthorn though.
