The calls go against us because we are shit and get shit umpires. By all means call a spade a spade with the shit calls but if there really was a grand umpiring conspiracy it would be to our favour IMO because our performances are absolute poison to the league and it's broadcast numbers.

The scary thing is that while there's almost zero chance of this being the messaging to players, there is entirely the possibility of the coaches using similar metrics to justify performance.

You either mould your game plan to suit the personnel you have, or you identify the way you want to play and build the list around it. It feels like the club is doing neither.

Yeah you're right it's so simple we should just draft players that are skilled, wish we'd thought of that with our years of top 5 draft picks. After all the game plan should just take care of itself then right? No good team ever carries players or compensates for weaknesses.
