I’m not one to be negative but Samson Ryan might be the worst player I’ve ever seen play for us. You can all stop with the hitting the right age for a ruck/potential future #1 ruckman garbage that’s been pushed lately. Relton Roberts at least had some talent, he just liked eating pies too much.

Agreed, if he makes it awesome but missing 1 game in the grand scheme of things is absolutely nothing.

99% of players do check. Even if they’ve done something dirty. In an unofficial scratch match you’d think it should be more than that. Reeks of a guy that was probably a little dirty a 0 gamer had kicked 2 on him and was about to get a third.

Didn’t clunk much at all but thought he provided a contest each time the ball was kicked down the wing. Last year that ball would have been an instant turnover.

We’ve had an extremely light amount of injuries this offseason to be fair compared to past seasons other than some minor ones and Lynch+Lalor concussions/jaw that are unfortunately just part of it being a contact sport. Compare ours to the Saints or Dogs.

My thoughts exactly. Have been pretty frustrated and disappointed since it happened so in the end it’s a “good” result all things considering.

Leg speed is obviously a pretty glaring weakness at the moment but do people not realise we are in year 1 of a rebuild? We’re not going to have leg speed, marking targets up forward, a steady midfield ect right away lol
